Got the handlebar bag today, and put it on. Nice fit and plenty of storage, on both sides of the bar. I should have space for most items now :D

The sled also came with the goggle bag as well :)

I also removed the stock 12V aux output (or whatever it's called?) and replaced it with a dual USB output. I figured all rechargeable gadgets are powered via USB anyway so why not? :)

That's a great idea!

I decided to do the air box mod. I bought some tools I thought would be perfect for the job, a pneumatic drill which you can put on many different drill bits, etc. Kind of like Dremel, but running on air. However, using a cutting wheel wasn't working as the plastic on the air box melted when cutting...

And the cutting wheel was a bit fragile

I used a 5 and 10 mm drill bit to drill out some guide holes in the corners

Then used this "dentist" drill bit to cut out the rest. I found this to work the best (of the tools I had).

Once that was done I used a round sanding drill bit to smooth out the edges. I left the frogskin support in there :)

Lastly, heated up that divider and bent it over. The plastic on this air box didn't bent over easily and I had to heat it for quite bit.

GOOD JOB Looks good. How loud is the intake after these mods? Is it just a change of tone or is it a noticeable change in volume?

I couldn't tell any difference in sound, but we all hear differently. Those that have done the nose only mod like this one notice any noise?

I haven't started her up yet so don't really know if there is any difference in sound. Hopefully it will add some punch to the mid range :)

I figured out I wanted the possibility to strap stuff to the tunnel also when I'm not having the tunnel bag on, so I bought two Apex M-TX hooks.

They are stock tilted inwards so I had to straighten them out in order to fit with the tunnel bag

This is how they look stock

I have a 10 ton shop press which I used to straighten them out

A few coats of paint and riveted to the tunnel

I also took my grinder and rounded off the edges on the seat latch to prevent wear and tear on the tunnel bag. I also but a few rounds of tape, until I get some more useful to put on permanently :)
