I was getting ready to go for a run and it died in the middle of the road and don't know what it could be I gave it a bit of fuel and it just died the check engine light is on and flashing in the dash and the warning light is on. When I try to turn it over nothing happens. The dash lights up and a slight ticking happens rather then the fuel pump running.
Please help

I had this once, ended up being an iced up sensor. Don't remember what code it was, but thawed it out overnight and it was good to go

Strange no code. Check your ground above the battery. It's a yellow square connector. Could have melted and broke ground, it's a bulletin from yam.

There should be a code, it will flash intermittently, you may have missed it?

I had a look this morning at the dash before I loaded it on to the trailer there is a code flashing saying 81. I looked it up it says its the hand warmers? This doesn't make any sense would it really die and not start again because the handwarmers are gone? What do I replace to fix it just the elements? Or the whole thing wires included?

I did have a look everything seemed fine the yellow connector seemed perfect as well assuming I was looking at the right one it wasn't directly above the battery it was more towards the skies.

The ground connector is taped to the harness, above the battery. The damage may not be visible by just looking at it. Remove the tape, pop open the top, pull the bar and inspect the wires. Any sign of heat could indicate damage.
