Ya. But to me a new jack shaft and bearing seems more like a problem being fixed. More then a luxury option.well wasnt last years issue the shocks were supposed to be evols and they were regular fox floats?

I don't see that is not applicable for early build sled. I see that it is applicable to all viper model....Says new 2016 in the pic
I think they did that because AC Turbo there is still a rare few that blow belts they changed it on those sleds and it didnt make sense to have two different systems. Probably confuses the assemblers. So they made them all the same even though the Yamahas and 7000's dont blow belts, ruin shafts or go through that wobble bearing very often at all.Ya. Ya. Hopefully the new shaft and bearing will fit in the older sleds, so that when we do go to replace it we have the option.I think they did that because AC Turbo there is still a rare few that blow belts they changed it on those sleds and it didnt make sense to have two different systems. If you read both files on Jackshaft and bearing it says that it can be retrofit in all vipers. That is why the note says all Viper Models. Because info can be used for all of them. Dont forget this info was only supposed to be seen by the Techs. They all have seen this style info every year so its not confusing. Just comes a bit too late.

Is the simplest way to tell the difference going to be the tuner skis? There's a new 2016 Ltx LE sitting at the dealers right now with the new tuners, not the ones from the 2015's
I just pulled off right sidecover tonight and the valvecover is easily seen by lifting up the foil exhaust cover. Only real way of knowing. Who knows what skis come on which.

The one by me looks exactly the same but has tuner 2's and the early motor. Here's the one that's at my dealers, new tuners skis as you can see, haven't asked or checked out anything else about it tho.

They put a turbo on this one so I'll ask next time I'm there if they seen any noticeable changes.
