Let me begin by saying I am in love. I am impressed with my ride. I do need to make some improvements. It pushes a little so I am figuring to get longer carbides. I do not want to over do it and have to fight to turn. I am thinking of going to 6". open to thoughts. I am 220 and plan to stiffen the rear spring. I was told the dealer set it up thinking I was 180. They did not ask my weight. Nice guys. I how have 486 miles and am returning for my 500 oil change and look over. I lost both nuts on the bolts holding my front shocks at about 100 miles. I think someone forgot to tighted those nuts. I am glad I caught that before the bolts fell out. The ride is great, pick up is smooth as silk, oh does it take the bumps. I ride it over bumpy trails at what ever speed I choose.

Springs
When you go max on the springs it is nice and probally wont bottom out but it is a little tipsy I thought. But you will get used to it.

I'd replace the carbides before doing any adjustments trying to get it to corner better. What are the stockers? 3.5" I think. Just long enough for them to say that it has them. I use 8", but 6" may work for you. My Vector is 121" track. Shouldn't the Rage use more carbide due to it's greater track contact surface? I'd think so, especially if it's studded.

Try Doolys
I have an 05 Rage and an 05 Vector.
I was getting a lot of push with the Rage and both sleds were
really darty, to a scary extent.
The Woody's doolys have made a huge difference on both sleds.
I ended up using the same size carbide on both which was
the "normal recommended" for 144 studs, the 6" 60 degree dooly.
Get 'em, you'll love 'em.
I also made the mistake of adding too much preload to the Rage.
It was really tippy. I removed the preload completely on the
front track shock and it's much more stable. A little sit in is a good thing.
I'm 250 lbs, btw.

I would just put shims in the skis and I would think any type of dually would lessen the deep keel in the ski and cause push in the corners...the Rage has a deeper Keel than a Vector because of the track length and I would want all the Keel I could get!

Hello k75
welcome to the site , fill out your profile so we know where you are from. If you are ruuning stock carbides, Then you will be up for longer one, how long would depend if you have on studs.

I want to thank those who gave advice. I have put 6" woody carbs on and they made a wonderful improvement. I have only gone on a short trip due to the lack of good snow right now. The sled now feels a little tippy in the coners and I will work on some damping adjustments that were recommended. I do not run studs.

Hey k75, I have a 05' Rage and live in Bemidji so I may be able to lend a hand if you still have tippy issues. 6" carbides are plenty and do yourself a favor and shim the ski's this will really help the darting. I added mtn ski's and a 11mm sway bar this year and set the ski's at their widest setting and my tippyness is almost 0.

Answer, the mnt skis have 2 collars per ski and depending how you arrange the collars you can make the ski stance narrower, wider or same as stock .
