paint

did you auto paint stripper ? it's strips paint fast on auto's it should work on
the tunnel, just read to see if you can use on alum.

I use to do the tunnles on my race sleds. I used "Air Craft" Stripper. Its about 25.00 a quart and I bought it at an auto supply store and it works good! The air temp makes a big difference, I always did it outside in the summer and when its 70-90 F is when it worked the fastest. This stuff is nasty, wear gloves and dont get it on anything your dont want ruined. I put it on with a paint brush and the paint is falling off 15 seconds after you apply it. Eric

That does work great but it has a lot of methylene chloride in it so don't get it on your skin or breathe it in. It will definitely do the trick.

thats what i use on aluminum wheels to get the clear coat off works great but eye protection and rubber gloves are a must but don't over brush it let it set there and do its job

I stripped the paint off the tunnel on my Apex, and I used an aresol can bought from a Lowe's store. I don't have a pic of it, but IMO, it was wwwaayy easier to use than a brush on. I just sprayed it on, hosed it off later and started polishing!
Similar stuff, just a spray can.
