01/13/2015 - Pioneer Performance (716-496-8800) is now handling this kit, ask for "clutching on the cheap" NOS-PRO, or Stingray mod clutch, its the same thing.

1. New 8fp weights, 3.6 gram rivet, GWG spring, spring shims, $178.32
2. Same as above with 45/39 helix $263.27
NOTE: Helix has spring pocket cut to eliminate coil spring bind, no machining of secondary's is needed to prevent spring bind in the secondary clutch.

Is the kit for use with the stock Viper belt exclusively or can it be used with the 8DN? If it can be used with the 8DN, will modifications to the kit be required?

You can use it with the 8jp belt but if you are upgrading you really should use the 8dn. No modifications to the kit to run 8DN belt.

How many shims come with the kit? Just curious.

I have not tested it myself in the mountains, but NOS-PRO (Terry) ran that helix when he was here in Colorado last Thanksgiving. Terry can you answer this one please?
 
stingray, does this setup raise or lower the clutch engagement speed? i feel as tho stock is too high already. its like riding my nytro with the parking brake left on...
