I have 2 we bought at last years show and never put on.
Just cant drill the holes on my sled to install them.

You dont need to do that (drill no stinking holes in the bodywork)

Know the space between the hood and the lower black panel??

Drill and tap 2 holes on the headlight pod sheetmetal, but you will need a longer ram arm.

CSS

Nos, We have a new base model which are just like last years model with the updated logo label we can sell $79.99. We also have a couple show demos units we can sell for $69.99. They are virtually new and packaged with all warranties. They also have the updated logo labeling. Brochures and sticker are available. Let me know (pm me). Thanks.

Chris glad to see you have the rear facing LED's that let the operator know what color he is projecting ahead. Too bad this was not in your original design. I believe I emailed you about this last year and asked why two indicator lights were not on the unit last year.

rear indicators

Sled Dog, The rear led indicators were intended from the start but we had a problem sourcing the needed components (led light pipes) with in the production time lines. :o| We are excited about this year's new CSS. For all who have pre-ordered the new CSS the ship date is December 5th!

Hey if Nospro doesn't want the two demo units, I'll take them, thanks.

CSS

Hlmrx1, We currently have 6 demos left. If you would like to purchase a couple, feel free to call the office @ 508-865-9144. Just request the demo units and the sales rep will process your order. Thank you. ;)!

CSS

Apexaholic, Most guys mount to the left upper plastic shroud just in front of the windshield right by the head lights. If the sled has a low profile windshield, the bar mount kit option is nice. It's a fast, secure location for a clean install. Hope this helps.

The website will feature more pics as time goes on.

Here is a ?? What are the standard hand signals for lead/ tail riders?
I know I have seen them somewhere and cannot remember what they are.

If common sense ruled the sport, there would be no need to know hand signals, or signalling devices. But since it obviously does not:

The lead sled will usually hold up as many fingers for sleds in their group. Each rider counts down. 5 or more is either 5 for the first few riders, or open/closing hand.

The tail sled holds up a closed fist, which should only be interpreted as zero, but not that the trail is all clear. How do they know?

All hand signals are risky as they require the operator to remove a hand from the controls, usually the brake lever.

The lights are a step in the right direction as far as making it safer to communicate. Just as every gun should be treated as if it were loaded, Riders should treat a trail like there are always other riders coming.

CSS

Well put 4fighter, I believe communicating to approaching trail traffic safely that you have people you care about riding behind you can make all the difference in avoiding a bad situation. When ever someone rockets past me on the trails I instantly start to worry about the riders behind getting hit. I have been riding for over 25 years and have over the last few seasons witnessed more and more incidents and accidents. After personally attending the International Snowmobile Congress last June, I'm really amazed to see the amount of tremendous effort that goes into this great sport to keep it a reality for all of us.Every time there is an accident, the land riden on and the sport overall is put at risk. After that event ( the ISC ), I see that snowmobiling is a privilege not a right. Please be safe this riding season. :letsnow:

Thanks. Unfortunately, the ONLY thing that will work for the lead sled is good old fashioned common sense. You can't make a device for that.

So where are we at in the group buy count?

CSS

Due to dealers selling the CSS this season we are not doing group buys. We want to keep our dealers happy and not undercut there selling price. We offer a new base model at $79.99. This price is less than last years group buy. We even have 4 base model show demos left for $69.99. The demos are in new condition and packaged like new with all warranties. ;)! To purchase the base model or demos call 508-865-9144 between 9am-5pm Mon-Fri eastern std time and a friendly sales rep will process your order. If you would like the CSS loaded with rear led indicators, batt back-up, and the hazard mode you can order securely direct online. Thanks

Okay, I give.

Ordered one this AM. Very helpful sales staff - Thanks! ;)!
