Rear of sled severe sag...... Pls help

Looking at each, Cat and Yamaha shop manuals for 2020 ( have not seen 2021 yet ) Cat shows UPPER hole in rear mount, Yamaha lower. Did not see if SRX REQUIRED different mount vs LTX. Also, does Thundercat have a SRX spring on it ? Cat ONLY has the one model, a Thundercat. Yamaha has RTX, LTX, XTX and SRX. The first 3 have a 90 degree spring leg, I THINK. SRX has different angle on short leg. Aint this sport fun ?

On my 2020 I can’t get my a arms completely level unless I loosen the springs past to where they just are sitting on the shock with no tension.

That could be the reason for you over heating more but I didn’t over heat once on my 2020 and I did some long distances riding through towns on minimal snow to get fuel, had some morning where the trail was hard and crisp and still didn’t over heat.
I’m not doubting you just saying my findings with the higher rear end.
Your center shock spring loosened would get the arms level.

Cat put the SRX springs on the 800 zr last year also.

I have to wonder if the Yamaha Tech Bulletin was in reaction to Bogey or shock body/resevoir interference in models up to a year of more ago. I have no doubt Cat is more up to date on configurations. They are building them.
