Rear suspension sagging?

I agree that we dont have a clue how it is actually going to ride untill we get it on the snow!

But before when i would get on the sled with the stock settings, the rear suspension would not move unless we had 450 pounds on the rear bumper. It would just sit on the coupler blocks.

It now has good movement until the coupler blocks. And seems like it should have a decent ride. Just need to wait till we get it on snow now and see how it rides!
Just wondering if your limiters or front shock are right? If I jack the front of my sled up with a trolly Jack under the belly pan my skis are about an 1 1/2” off the ground before the track leaves the ground at the front with couples on lowest setting and engaged. That’s with my limiters on the longest setting regardless of spring pressures!

My limiter straps are at the longest setting.

Only the back 1/3 of the track is touching the floor with no one on it. When my wife gets on it touches the entire length. I figured this was normal on these sleds and thats why they cornered so flat! Lol

So possibly i have too short of limiter straps or something?

The skis should come off the ground before the track with limiter all the way loose. My 16 viper was the same that’s why I checked my 20 in the first place to compare

Even after loosening the front springs your track doesn’t sit flat on the floor?

Can you measure the center to center on the limiter shafts? I can confirm my measure ment tomorrow

My 17 LTX LE was amazing , floated effortlessly over Sunday trails at high speed .
Now sags and have lost a lot of travel .
I re positioned the cross bar without blocks about an inch back so I have a little more travel , and freshened the shocks up .
Still sags so I got the Star 5 position torsion cam , and am riding it on 5 .
Some of the sag is gone some of the time , but this setting seams to offset the rebound setting (i think it has rebound),on the rear shock and it is too firm and bouncy even on good trails . My shocks are now on #2 setting .
It sounds like so many things are different in my set up now , that I might be better off just getting a new sled with the electronic shocks.
The only 2 things stopping me , is that I believe the new shocks on the LTX LE or SRX are not as good as the ones I have on my current sled , and I would be trading down.
AND MY WIFE !
I would need a complete wrap that looks like my current red and white sled to fool her .
OR
buy a Cat version (ouch) , and tell her it is one of my sons , as he has 3 black Cat sleds , that she pays no attention to , and has lost track of what he has.
SOOOOO just now my wife sits down and asks me what I am doing.
I told her it was snowmobile stuff.
Out of the blue , she says when are you going to sell one of my sons back up sleds ! WTF !
It is like she went up to the garage last night while I was asleep , and took an inventory !
I think I know where this is heading .
Begging for Mercy , instead of asking permission !!!!
Get the srx the shocks are definetly an upgrade they work plain and simple the only thing i been reading is the new taller front end causes the back suspension to put rear scissor against the blocks causing a rough ride with limited travel,is this true?if so looks like the 19 is a home run

I measured my limiters today. From center of upper tube to the center of bottom shaft is roughly 10” with strap tight and on the last hole

Measured my limiter straps. Center to center is dead nuts at 9 inches not 10. The only other hole looks like it would be at 7 inches. Otherwise there is no holes to make it longer.
