Rear suspension sagging?

Those may be 2019 and previous straps accidently put in! Same reason I found a self tapping torx in my air filter

Yes indeed! Now why does mine have shorter straps on it? There should be an update and a pn change if its different!

2019 limiter strap P/N is 8JP-G7495-20-00, and they're $5.24/per on Babbitt's.

2020 limiter strap P/N is 8ND-G6432-00-00, and they're $13.87/per on Babbitt's.

I don't have any other specs on these. Looking forward to your findings! Would be nice if this is a cheap/easy fix. I'm going to measure my dad's when I get a chance to chime in with my findings too.

Measured my limiter straps. Center to center is dead nuts at 9 inches not 10. The only other hole looks like it would be at 7 inches. Otherwise there is no holes to make it longer.
Are you both SURE you are measuring the SAME place ? Time to go check mine.

I could take a strap off tomorrow! Only takes a couple minutes if it’s slightly compressed

Here are two pics of my dad's sled. First one shows side view where skid mounts to frame. Second pic shows distance to transfer blocks at rest. He measured 9" center-to-center on the limiter straps. Again his issue is that you can manually lift the rear bumper to max height, let go, and it literally drops several inches with no resistance at all. 2020 LTX GT.

Currious what happens when you put a 2" board under the length of the track the sizzor should perpendicular then?

It's sitting on a flat concrete floor.. what do you mean? Thanks.

Identical to mine before adjusting the ski pressure and torsion springs on soft! After i let the pressure off of the front ski shocks it made a large difference in the uncoupled travel. I also changed my torsion springs to hard. Will be taking my BOP 4 position adjuster off of the apex and putting it on the sidewinder. Warranty according to the dealer i bought it from does not cover suspension sag unless the torsion springs actually break.

Because the front ski shocks are holding the front end up and the limiter straps are tight, the rear suspension is carrying all of the weight. Colapsing it down to the coupled bump stops.

There must be a change in the geometry of some of the skids. As other people are not having the same issue as your dad and i.

I dont think its only the limiter straps that changed. Because mine still hits the coupler blocks in the upper 3/4 of its travel. Once it hits them it takes a very large amount of force to get it to move.

After making those adjustments it seems like it will ride good. Mine has never been on the snow yet. So i can not definitively say it will ride good or bad.

Thanks Swampcat. I don't know if coupler blocks are the issue here though. It seems hellflyer and ThatOneGuy were looking at limiter straps as being a potential issue. Earlier in the thread it was suggested to tweak the front suspension to transfer more weight onto the skis and less onto the rear suspension.
