I have a 137 SE LTX. When sled is sitting in garage I can left back end up and shock rises around 5 inches and when I leave it down it bottoms out and doesn't seem to be any shock left?

It is on three dollies two on ski's and one under the rear. did not try it off the dollies

I bet you're fine off the dollies. I'm sure your shocks are fine. The springs hold up the sled. The shock only damp the springs rate of travel. Only exception would be air shocks that do both.

What setting are you on? 1 2 3 ? three being the stiffest.. Guessing your shock has fully broken in and needs to be tightened to the next setting

I will be taking off the dollies tonight , heading up to the gunflint trail have 450 miles so far out at the black hills last week, excellent trails. thanks for the help, miss my power steering on the apex, seems to have lots of ski pressure.

Ski pressure and this sled are issues that are coming up.. The middle suspension (LTX_SE)shock by the limiter straps is the main problem.. IMO that spring it to soft. Crank it up.

I'd be willing to bet it won't do it when off the dollies. I had the same concern and someone asked if my sled was on dollies. Sure enough, when I took it off, it did not do the same thing. Pushed on it and rebounded just fine.

Jonlafonl I tightened the spring but was wandering about the limiter straps did not see any hole options?

When you undo the top nut n bolt on limiter strap you will see 5 holes to choose from. Put a chunk of wood like a 4x4 under the track neat the limiter strap and that will give you enough slack to tighten or loosen the strap. Each side.

Follow the two limiter straps to where they are bolted to the top of the front arm of your suspension. You will find that there are five holes to choose from. At least there was five holes on mine (LTX-LE).
