Installed my big venom kit last night and when taking off the secondary I noticed the bushing with some groves worn in it.
It's only on one side and not all around the bushing.
Normal or a possible issue???

That won't affect anything. That is the bushing that goes between the jackshaft and the end of the bolt. It can move up and down slightly, so if it's not perfectly centered when you tighten down the bolt it may rub against the splines in the secondary. Nothing to be worried about, it's really just a spacer.

Thanks for the info.
I knew it was a spacer/ bushing but was concerned that something may be off or out of line that may have caused the wear.
Thanks again.

Agree with Allen, just a spacer. Nothing rides on this.

Great question tho! :)

Looks like a lot of belt dust also. While its apart wash all that dust off and blow dry with air. Wipe clutch surface with acetone to clean it also. Also wipe primary clutch surface with acetone to clean. Make sure the is no black or grey left on surfaces and you'll be good to go.
