I ran Smaller rollers on my viper with great results. I found them to be better in everything from stock rollers. I ran 14.8mm thunder products ones vs. yamaha becauce they were about 1/3 the cost of OEM ones. They are still on the sled and it has 8000+ miles on it, rollers went in at 2800 miles. Now just gotta test it out and see if performance goes up. Thanks for doing that!

Any possibility you could explain a little better on your findings? Why did you switch in the first place and what did you feel was all around better?

Smaller rollers give more force over entire rpm range. More consistent belt grip thru the entire rpm range. Changes in riding conditions didn’t produce swings and variances in performance as much as stock diameter rollers.

The 14.5 rollers will add more force and shift up faster, inturn this will usually lower your rpm's thru the shift range. Which is usually about 200 rpm from engagement thru shiftout. I run these on all my setups for better grip on low end and change to a pink rate spring to lower engagement to around 3000 rpm so you can hook up.

Wish we could roll the clock back 4 years and give this a try, I'm sure there's guys that did try it right off. Would've been neat to have another alternative to some expensive clutch components

I run them in my turbo, there's no belt slip whatsoever..I also run gates belt so that attributes to that too. Rpm is very consistent when wide open no matter where you are when you hit it.

Think its worth the investment of picking them up even though i have adjustable weights? what are the downsides? what advantage do the bigger ones have?I run them in my turbo, there's no belt slip whatsoever..I also run gates belt so that attributes to that too. I would say advantage of bigger ones is more aggressive launch but if belt slips ...... I am intrigued since with my high gearing if off trail I have slipped belt if I baby it. I can stand a little more rpm on launch also so may work well. Thanks for idea Studroes.Think its worth the investment of picking them up even though i have adjustable weights? what are the downsides? what advantage do the bigger ones have?
