Sneak Peak of New Sleds

I think this means the cat/yam relationship may be ending, or winding down. No more 7000.

Maybe cat will go toward Mt and crossover 2s sleds mostly and YAM will take the reigns on trail sleds with the 4s. I would assume YAM must have more then just an SRX for '20.

I guess ya just never know what is gonna happen. Very odd to say the least what Cat is doing.

I had a Cat dealer tell last year that the Yamaha turbo outsells the Cat turbo 10-1. So it does appear that this has been more of a win for Yamaha dealers than Cat dealers when it comes to the combined Yamaha/Cat models.

Arctic Cat will only offer our 2020s as Spring Guarantee models,” says Arctic Cat. “To state it simply, if consumers don’t put their money down before April 30, they won’t be able to purchase a 2020 Arctic Cat in season.”

Cat says it will also introduce special pricing that will be revealed on March 5, 2019.

Ok cool....found something very positive and I hope it translates to YAM.

New front end! I knew it looked diff, but here are specs...Sounds great, and likely they fixed the stupid sway bar rubbing the panels. Taller spindles.

Nobody said that. We were only sharing what was released so far. I'm 90% sure that AC may not have been able to release anything co produced with Yamaha that may have new tech in it until Yamaha has a chance to release it as well at the same time. That's probably why the T-cat is out there, as it has not changed other than the updated iAct.

This is a Ripsaw2 in 1 inch version from what i see on tcat.....not same as this seasons ripsaw. I wonder if the SRX will get this track too? Looks nicer then the old ripsaw.

The 'cross action' rear appears similar to the uncoupled 141 style skid, except it has torsions on the back.

Cool, improved geometry. The best front end out there even better again.....?

In a way I'm disappointed. I was really hoping for a larger motor from cat. The riot is nothing more then a rebadge high country with a slightly longer track. I still have a little hope that Yamaha has something exciting coming but some of that hope was lost after seeing what cat released.

There are some notable improvements. I'm not a 2 stroke guy, but the engine has been refined. If there claims are true, this will be the most powerful 800 ever built by any manufacturer and less than 5hp shy of 850's.

Well 2020 looks to be a let down for new sleds across the board. Unless Yamaha pulls a Yamaha built sled on the. 5 th . But why is arctic cat waiting to announce prices until then ? On a positive note for us , there is nothing out there worth having or faster than a sidewinder for another year ...lol
