I really wish he had of stuck around, I literally showed up, he was doing his last run, ran the 131, then I ran a few times, adjusted some stuff and he had left in the meantime, got talking to some buddies and they told me who they thought it was... Good news is if it is that guy, gf's dad is buddies with him and I'll be able to find out... Just havnt had the chance to talk with him as I'm in North Dakota for a week for training... When I get back this weekend I'll try and get some more info and post back!
Awesome! So did you take out some Doos?

There wasn't many there surprisingly! Buddy with a 500 ss was there, raced him, raced a 2 stroke viper, 2 Srx's, venture, stock 2015 viper... That was all that was really around

I saw a turbo viper run 131 mph last weekend on radar, never got talking to him though, he was loading up as I showed up... All I found out he was running the mpi kit, not sure of any more details... I really wanted to get talking to him!
It is a Hurricane turbo kit.

Well it was definately dam impressive to see a viper running that fast! Few other guys with stock vipers were only hitting 85-90 mph

Jeeze that's not bad at all! I ran 103, adjusted the secondary then ran 104-105 the rest of the day.... Definately glad to be part of the 100 mph club now and even happier to know that some guys are getting the vipers figured out!

Yamadog you should be seeing 120mph or more out of your sled. Maybe that leash is even on a Turbo!
No with the stock gearing in the XTX 117 is max and it did it on the dyno. I have seen 112 on the speedo and 111 on GPS still had a bit in her but ran out of room on the lake. It is picky on deeper snow 108 is max on packed trail or where groomed trail crossed lake 112. I am still dialing in gems, with 2 of them it is hit or miss and was banging rev limiter at 13#'s so added a bit of clutch weight that seems to have stopped that. I want to change the gearing but am worried I will lose the D&D XF1100 killing low end. I am going to the 3000' shaved ice radar run this Saturday to see what top end really is then make decision on gear change.
The other problem is my nose is still rising to 2' after 40 mph at WOT even with the hygear coupler in it and limiter straps pulled down 3", so the aero dynamics are way off and the power is wasted carrying the nose that high. If you saw my run at Minocqua last Saturday it pulls the skis 12" at launch and half way down the track the column almost came up and hit my face shield and carried them there till the end of the 660' run. It runs straight as an arrow so I don't need the skis but at 2' too much wasted energy and air resistance.

Sounds like you need larger blocks in the back or something to stop the rear arm from travelling as far backNo with the stock gearing in the XTX 117 is max and it did it on the dyno. Always a loss here and gain there but based on the Nytro I rode I would be gearing up. Still pulled like a freight train! No with the stock gearing in the XTX 117 is max and it did it on the dyno. At the power level your at you should be able to get to 117 at will in any conditions. The speeds you are getting are the same as my stock Apex. Something must be way off with your clutching.

X2. It might get there in a hurry now but I wouldn't be happy with a turbo, all that $$$ in it and only being able to hit 112 on hard pack.
