Big fuel pump and turbosmart regulator installed today. Just have to protect the front of the tank with reflective heat tape and should be ready to fire it up tomorrow night.

The belt guard seems like a great place to mount the fuel pressure regulator, but one blown belt will ruin it. I speak from experience!! LolBig fuel pump and turbosmart regulator installed today. Better get rid of that regular hose clamp. And put a crimp clamp on that like pex pipe clamp. That's a fire waiting to happen

Yeah the fuel pressure gauge doesn't like the hit from a blown belt. At least rubber mount it

She's alive! Started right up and purrs like a kitten. Sure is a great feeling knowing I did all the work myself. Shout out to my friend Travis for answering all my questions and verifying my cam timing.

Would you have any pics of the clear 3m tape on your sled, my tunnel being red looks horrible with that greyish crap running down it.On front of tank i used high heat reflect heat shield…. Its self adhesive back, DEI is what i used from speed shop, and the clear 3M is pretty much same as clear gorilla tape you canget from Home Depot, i covered tonneau where gas tank and seat go.
