What did you do on the backside for air flow?
Dave from Turbor said he doesn't drill the bulkhead so neither did I. There's enough space between the intercooler and the bulkhead to allow air movement.

UPGRADED INTERCOOLER - 998T
IN NEED OF FRESH AIR ? Precision EFI present the 998T upgraded intercooler Completely developed and manufactured in our facility, that .75 inch ticker, all aluminum, high efficiency intercooler helps to cool down the air coming from the turbo as much as possible. Easy bolt on installation, no...

Here’s the link for the pefi Intercooler has some pics. Looks very nice Doesn’t look as thick as turbors It would be nice to see some real data on IAT temps so see how effective they are. Seems like the limiting factor is the airflow with the design of the chassis with that small bulkhead directly behind it. I drilled mine out and opened up a window behind it to allow air to get thru.
I like the idea of a fan. Had one on my 2012 1100. Pulled air thru Intercooler seemed to help if anything it pushed air thru the engine bay and out the knee vents lowering under hood temps

HAs a lot to do with quality of the core. Ive tried opening the bulk head behind it, made virtually no difference on data logs.

Personally I didn't consider the PEFI as it is only .75 thicker. The turbor is 2.5 thicker.

Seventh winter and I still love this thing!
Same with me. I have my 2017 perfected to a "T" and not really sure I want to go to the new 23 SRX which is supposed to be ready real soon.

Comparing logs from my last day out with the stock intercooler to today's with the Turbor intercooler, (similiar ambient temp), IATS are down 25 degrees or so. It'll be interesting once I can get a long pull in to compare with last year's IATS.

you can even drill a hole in bottom that allows heat to come up from engine keeping contents warm. GPS fits perfect.

Arctic cat dash caddy
Has anyone added the arctic cat dash caddy to a sidewinder? Looks as if it will fit just looking for a better gps mounting system and it gives ya some storage. Running sport windshield also. Any insight...
