My dealer did say something about late pick up but think I want it in my garage rather then in a crate waiting for something to happen. Just hope it comes in before opening day of fishing.

I was told that I could pick it up in the fall alsoMy dealer did say something about late pick up but think I want it in my garage rather then in a crate waiting for something to happen. Just hope it comes in before opening day of fishing.
I feel the same as you in that I could picture some young kid backing into it with a forklift while it’s sitting in a crate
When it’s taking this long to get our sleds, how long might replacement parts to be unavailable ?

Towed in a brand new 2022 Thundercat with power steering yesterday. Dead battery.
Jumped it with my jump pack and charging system is not charging. The sled would idle but not rev up enough for the clutch to engage. Showed 7 volts on gauge.
It was first ride on sled.
The owner was out riding alone.

Bad voltage regulator.
My local Cat dealer had one do the same exact thing on the first ride.

I’ve seen 3 2022 SW LTX GT’s while out riding, 2 in Ontario and 1 in Quebec, only talked to one of the guys at a gas station and he said he received it in December.. I wasn’t impressed with the colour on the web but seeing it in person it’s a sharp looking sled.

Wait all year for your sled then have it break down on the only ride this year with it.

Any chance the Power steering unit is somehow causing stress on the voltage regulator and taking the weak ones out or just taking them out period? Suppose they had a few bad ones on a batch and they went into the T cats? Seems odd.

More than likely just another supply chain issue. And with areas of China currently under lockdown I don't see it getting any better soon.Any chance the Power steering unit is somehow causing stress on the voltage regulator and taking the weak ones out or just taking them out period? The EPS wouldn't run directly off of the regulator, its likely that the regulator was already dead and starting and riding killed the battery.

For sure. Just throwing it out that its a electrical component that has some draw. Seems odd that we have a couple do the EXACT same thing.. And not many of these models out and aboutThe EPS wouldn't run directly off of the regulator, its likely that the regulator was already dead and starting and riding killed the battery.
