I was finishing a 300mile ride and suddenly noticed that I had to pull the brake lever a lot closer to the bars than normal, basically no feel until the second parking brake notch. I inspected the system and didn't find the piston stuck, pads are good, and no leaks. After bleeding they were nice and firm again, I even double handed the lever and put as much force on the lever as I could after bleeding and no leaks. Took it out for a 20 mile rip using the brakes as much as possible and they are still firm so I don't know what happened. Anyone have something similar happen? My only guess is the brake resi was only 2/3 full since I got the sled and somehow got a bit of air caught in the shuttle while pounding through some whoops.

Sounds like you overheated your brakes. Ive done it a few times. new fluid and its probably good go now!
