Not looking to start which company is better. Looking for a reliable tune without having to add or change a lot of things. Thinking single tune with exhaust. Already have thunder clutching and would like to adjust them to what’s needed. Some say anything over 250 you have to think about changing gears, is that true? With so many options now it’s hard to decide on what to go with. I’ve heard turbo dynamics 270 power trail with 2.5 force exhaust and sounded good. Only one I’ve heard in person. Any info would be awesome. Thanks

They are all reliable from each vendor(hurricane td pefi )if you want a set it and forget it tune stay under 250..
As you increase power maintenance is not something to overlook between season..
More boost you put the more you need to pay attention to your sled when riding....imo

I would focus on customer support more then anything

All good companies mentioned by yamamarc. I don't have a preference or any affiliation.. I can tell you that my 17 was tuned from day on(zero miles) with TD ecotrail and a turbo force muffler.. I put about 4k on that tune and then went to powertrail from TD.. I just sold my 17 with 11750 miles on it.. At no time did I have issues with the tunes and yes I like a single tune also.. I had a small issue with the stock fuel pump around 10k.. I put the TD fuel pump in and its perfect.. Not saying you need the upgrade on fuel pump..BUT 270 and stock pump is pushing it especially with 3 gallons or less in your tank..IMO.. My turbo force muffler made it to 10k and started getting a lot louder.. I purchased a new one from td.. I will have a friend repack my old one and possibly use it on new sled. I will say I'm very much leaning towards TD powertrail on new sled also.. Single tune, muffler maybe CAI.. Very safe tune on pump gas.. M2 cents.

TD Tuned since 1,500 miles. now have 7,400. Max spool 17. No issues. I ride fast yet smooth on the throttle, but I do not beat on the sled so that could be helping.

TD tuned since year 1. I've ran both stock muffler tunes and performance muffler tunes and I beat on my sled. ZERO issues! I wouldn't hesitate to tune from day 1.

I've ran tunes for years and years and tuned many others. Zero issues. Just love the thrill these things provide and the ability to so easily pass any non-turbo sled.

Thanks for the reply’s. By the sounds 250 is the way to go for me. What else is needed besides clutching. I understand turbosmart valve might be needed. I plan on doing drive shaft saver from Travis and rov by pass.

My New TCAT only has 260 miles on it as of last Thursday. I had someone install the Hurricane 240SS SM tune. It now has 340 miles. What a big difference that is over stock. Its awesome. I will be moving to the 270SS SM tune for next year.

That's it you're done! Hooked hard. No coming back from this you know! Yeah, next year will be 270, then that won't be enough! Before you know it you're hiding from the wife ordering go fast parts online. Remember.... Nobody here can help you with that! Lol

Thats why I need to keep mine stock... I know I would love a tune but a 240 tune is just a gate way tune. It wont be long i will be on the corner selling any thing to support the ever increasing need for a new fix. It starts small but soon it's all over, no job, wife leaves, kids don't know me and I'm riding a Polaris. No thank you.
