TY Give Away Ride... BOOK NOW!!

Calm down.....

Why are you guys getting so defensive? He didn't say the guy was reckless or looking to cause a problem. I'm sure there are going to be Yamahas there that will be on full boost as well that feel they are King Ding a Ling. You're acting like Kim Jong! :jump:

Now let's put that loser in his place! :yam:

Family ride? I guess I'll be leaving one of my bags home then.

Maybe... What do you think this ride is?? A dick measuring contest? Seriously if we are going to have a battle of any sort this is not the ride to do it on...... I am just saying.

If there are some that want to go race, have at it but have some respect for those that dont care how fast you are and don't spoil the rest of everyone else s fun is all I ask.

I am bringing my 17 and 18 year old kids to ride with as this is the only one that I have them come on. And I cant pack the big guns... Supercharger will be home and radar gun will stay in the box.....

Are you calling me a communist?..LOL no I am more of a dick..tator...LOL...

defensive only in the fact that if you are coming to the ride to prove something... stay home. If you want to come on the ride and meet some great people, razz you buds for some good clean fun, rack on some miles on or play in some deep powder.... then come on up.

this is what a ty ride is about. ;)!

I go to ride with a great bunch of guys and have fun. I wish my schedule allowed me to make more rides.

at home, I usually end up leading when a group gets together for a run as I know the trails the best and most of the sneaky short cuts. at a ty ride, I ride towards the back or drag as it is different and fun. i do not care what the pace is. i just want to ride and help others as i can and want to be helped when i need it.

ty rides for me are about riding with a great group of people of many skill levels and learning something that i do not usually do at home.

i don't care whos sled is the best or fastest. i care about going out and enjoying the ride and the company. that is what is important to me. if that is not important to you, why are you coming?

this is the one ride that guys bring their wives and kids to. please respect that and act according to how you would want your own family to enjoy the ride as well.

Could not have said it better myself.

Wow a good snowmobile and more importantly a good Snowmobiler does all aspects of snowmobiling well. That is what I like most about the group rides. Its a chance to sample EVERY aspect of snowmobiling at one time and most importantly put faces to the names here. Anyone will find what they want for riding and if the riding sucks the people are there to have a ball. Win Win.

There are always other brand sleds usually along. My buddy and me are coming and don't ride yamahas. Some razzing is expected but it's all about having fun yes there has been some racing in the past but it's usually in an appropriate safe place.
The way it was worded about him coming and his purpose didn't sound to good.

I think auto2665 accomplished exactly what he was shooting for....he has all your undies in a bunch. Now Nytrozula is leaving his bag of S & M toys at home and we aren't going to be able to get any good pictures of him and Mr Jong(Sled), the commy, all tied up to his sled. :jump:

All in good fun guys! Wish I could be there....sounds like its going to be fun.

LMAO.. Mr Jong Sled... might have to change my name... ;)!

I have been thinking of coming up to ride with every one. I would be staying at my place in Seney. What time of day do you normally hit the trail? Haven't been on a TY ride since Manitoba, 2005.

Usually gather in the lobby or parking lot between 9-10 am. Some groups might leave earlier but majority usually follow this pattern.

Update on snow and trail conditions for Give Away ride.

In the last week I have rode between Paradise and Marquette and everywhere in between. You will be surprised how much more snow we have now compared to just 2 weeks ago. Last night in Munising it was a true blizzard, it was awesome riding. in fact there is a blizzard warning posted until Tuesday for Alger and Marquette Counties. I guess what I am saying is, this coming up weekend will be truly epic snow conditions for this part of the State. If you are on the fence about coming up. Don't hesitate and miss out on some of the best riding I have seen in 20 years.

The trails and off trail powder riding can't get much better!

X2 on the above.... was at camp( near the buckhorn resort..Wetmore) almost two weeks ago and it was excellent (and cold) and currently if you can beleive it it has only improved more!! The big factor here is that its been so cold consistently every day and night that they are not losing any snowfall they get and nothing has "settled" with a warm day or two so off- trail guys are going to love or hate it because once ya jump off trail it will seem very deep for you will not find a base ...its soft all the way down and deep! Went to just check my electric meter for a reading (first time I have left some heat on in years) to se how its going and it was so deep i could not hardly move at all (6-2 and it was well over my waist) it was a work-out! This a too much snow for mid January already according to my life long yooper neighbors! but it will only help lakes and rivers come spring....they need it. Very nice conditions for up and coming rides thinking of coming for the give-away ride.... just ride safe and respect others- enjoy!
Rich Kay.
