Running a upgraded ulmer racing stage 1 turbo on my nytro with a 2554 and have a line on 2860rs that I would like to upgrade to. I usually run 6.5 lbs at sea level on a stock motor and am wondering if I could run the 2860rs at 6.5lbs on my stock motor or will the increase in flow from the 28rs be to much at low boost on a sea level trail sled?

The difference wont be noticeable the main reason people run a 2860 is once you go over 12lbs of boost the 2554 is basically a hot air pump.

Look into a Precision 48/28 Perfect bolt on, will flow more air at same boost then a 2554, and it comes with billet turbine wheel, so spool up is much better.
Call up Full Throttle Speed in Mich. He hooked me up with one and it made a huge difference in the way the sled performed!!!
