viper diet....

The last of my suspension parts have arrived! The OFT three wheel kit is here and looks killer!!!
If any one is looking for a three wheel kit please look at the OFT Racing one.

I cant wait till after work to get these on! I will post a pict or two of them installed later tonight

My new drive shaft arrived assembled, drivers, clips, speedo magnets, and oil seal
Only had an hour yesterday to work on the machine so I weighted the stock drivers to the avids installed.
You can only press the drivers off one direction! the one side has a machined lip that the drivers will not go over.

Quick update: Still waiting on my brake disc..... not sure on an ETA so I ordered a light weight one from BDX. Also on the way is a full exhaust system. Now it is just a waiting game for parts to get this girl running and a few quick rides.... Also forgot to mention I should have a WRP low seat here in the next few weeks so you can see the difference in seat height for all you guys in the hills!
Off to Mexico for 14 days to unwind and get away,
hope the snow and weather holds out for everyone riding! :sled1:

Finally back from vacation! all I could think about was working on my viper!
Parts have arrived...
Full exhaust, braces for the tunnel and rail braces, clutch side vents!!! and re-install the skid plate
should be able to get some more pictures up after work tomorrow

Drive shaft, drivers, BDX rotor and track are all installed and ready to go. The sled is finally at a stage were I can ride it.

started with the vents, both will be on the clutch side.
the kit has the one vent just above the clutch shown in the picture and the second one normally goes above it, however air in is all good for cooling but you need air out to get rid of the hot air....... so this was my solution, one kit two vents and success

track is in and all is good, time for exhaust later tonight or maybe tomorrow night

I also plan on moving the suspension up one hole in the rear

Do you guys have a trick to getting that snap ring on the drive shaft? Boy that was a pita.

Yes, I use a ratchet strap tie down between the running boards to pull the tunnel in slightly. This helps take the tension off between the snap ring and the groove. When going back together it helps to expose the groove by allowing the rotor to move in farther.
Also it helps to have a good set of flat bladed snap ring pliers.
