Viper mods under $100.00

Anti-stab kit is a must for anyone going off trail, jumping or catwalking you sled

BDX Anti-stab kit= $70

Arctic cat chassis are known for this

I agree on the 141" and longer but on the 129 and 137 it's not going to be an issue.

Ill have to disagree with you. My Crossfire 7 had a 136" track and every time i came down off a jump tail end first I could feel the ratchet as my rails try to stab the track. After installing the anti-stab kit there was no more ratcheting(and im not talking about drivers ratcheting). Now yes the new rails could have a different profile but AC is known for this and a kit is $70 vs new track at $700+ or - . To me I'd rather have the peace of mind

You didn't show the poor guy that went over the bars.....was he ok?

Is a lot of wear on slides above curve on mine. Caps look fine though. No place for wheels other than this anti stab kit. I hate small wheels but may give them a try.

Can the anti stab kit be installed with track and skid still on sled?
Yes. It's very easy. No need to take anything apart besides removing the rail tips.

I agree with you "tricky Nicky" on the old crossfires but have never seen an issue on the new 128/129 or the new 137 skids in the Procross chassis. 141 skids and or 3.0 pitch track and I would do anti-stab, which is what I have done to mine. Cat had an update to the rail caps on the M series the year before last, which was obviously to reduce the possibility of track stab. The new caps fit the 141 though that skid was not included in the bulletin. I believe some, if not all M's are now coming with anti-stabs off the assembly line this year.

Nice pics Caltrax

I appreciate the thread just laughing at my self for spending to much.

I like to blame Terry _NOS PRO-for "spending my money"- through his and now both of your good ideas, mostly my fault. LOL

;)

;)!

The 2015 Viper MTX sleds will have anti-stab wheels installed from the factory

OK so I looked into the Anti-Stab Kit and I am pretty sure that I have seen the Wahl Bros name on here for awhile. The problem I have now is I can't remember if my XTX has one Limiter Strap or two.....It has simply been too long and too many brain cells ago for me to remember. I looked and you can get either kit with shipping for $88 on Amazon, can someone tell me what part number they used on their XTX? 790A or 791A??? It really needs to snow!!!!

My first "Mod" under $100. was a new black powder coated riser. Looks much nicer on the new sled over the raw aluminum riser that comes on a 2015 LTX SE. Also went a little taller with it.
