What Did You Do To Your Sled Today???

IMG_2376.jpeg

Aligned my skis, put on a ram mount for my phone. I also put on a cheap rollover valve hose clamp that I can loosen with my fingers. My sled rarely if ever sits outside overnight, but when it does I have heard people just loosen the hose till the valve warms up to avoid blowing out the oil seal. I put the BOP gasket on earlier this year.

got the new scratchers put on the 11 and swapped out the carbides. also dug into why @Rockmeister power supply was not working (baby seal one). had to swap on the one i took off my 16 that the plug for the power point failed on the supply to get something working.

over the weekend, swapped out all the shocks, repacked speedo and jack shaft bearing on 2016. oils replaced and bolts i broke checking exup adjustment are drilled out and retapped. pissed me off for 2 hrs as they just twisted right off and i had them out last year during pre season.

still has the mtx skis on it. only had a problem that one day all year. she usually doesn't like the curves on it as she complains about it pushing in the corners when it is not set up hard like that day. bringing a set of phazer rtx take off skis and a set of kimex things i have hanging around for spares. i will throw the rtx skis without the snow trackers that are on them onto the sled tonight and bring the mtx skis to switch to if she complains.

What carbides do you have on those mtx skis?

6" stud boy shaper bars. she hates any wear bars with round host stock. does not like how they feel even on the mtx skis.

Have you tried Snowtrackers on those mtx skis?
i don't like the look of snow trackers as i tend to find logs/wood under the snow and have had normal carbides catch enough to buck me to the bars quite a few times over the years.

Swapped to a Skinz mid-rise seat, and installed knee pads.
