Might need to tighten the spring. There is a lot of consensus here that the spring works.
I am going to try Max on the Racewerx adjustable. If not enough I am going to put just the bar in with protective hose.
I started at 3 turns all the way to 6 turns, a 1/4 turns at a time.

It looks like your avatar is a Delta Box sled; I don't know if the spring works as well on those sleds as it does for the Pro Cross. For me, the problem was that the starting point for when you begin counting turns was pretty vague. I thought I followed directions and then made 4 turns, but the front end was heavier than when I started with the old spring. I backed it off, and tried again, making a new guess at the starting point for counting turns. This time it came out much better, but I still ended up adding a two more turns before I lightened up the front end to where I wanted it. That having been said, the end result was awesome, better handling and better ride. I love it!

I am pretty sure that if you put enough preload on that spring, it will lighten up your front end. I suppose other factors could prevent it from working, for example, if your limiter strap is too tight. If you start a conversation with Bill, I am sure he will help you get to the bottom of the issue. This is on my 2019 LTX 137 Sidewinder.

141 uncoupled is NOT A TRAIL SLED. It’s off trail sled. Sorry just being honest.
I love my XTX for trail, I can rail with the best of them. Good skis are a must tho...
And yours is all stock suspension right? I know your Viper xtx was when I rode it and it worked well. I would never buy a 137" . Only 141" or 129" or less I like a sled that responds to body English. Only place I am sitting still on seat is a grade and when on a grade looking for a real trail!I love my XTX for trail, I can rail with the best of them. Good skis are a must tho...

That is an interesting observation about the 137" sleds, and I think I understand. How I ride my 141" and how I ride my 137" are totally different, especially now that I have lightened up the front end on the 141". My 141" really does well on the trails, but I have to be a much more active rider to do it.And yours is all stock suspension right? I know your Viper xtx was when I rode it and it worked well. Yup. Rode dirtbikes most of my life and will always ride like that every corner and every bump. By doing this I am always ready and in position for the unexpected oh #*$&@ moment! Its kept me injury free on sleds mostly and I taught my kids the same way. They are always ready for the idiot on wrong side trail or the massive hole over a jump or rise. If I wanted to sit back and ride I would be on a GoldWing or in my truck. That is an interesting observation about the 137" sleds, and I think I understand. Lightened up Front End?? I have a ‘17 XTX LE with stock suspension and I would really like to lighten up the front end but can’t figure out how to do so. No front ski lift at all.....Any suggestion how to lighten it up stock setup, I don’t see anywhere to adjust weight transfer? That is an interesting observation about the 137" sleds, and I think I understand. XTX 137"? Same skid as us LTX sleds. Rotate bar with black plastic cubes behind rear scissor arm until smallest amount of plastic faces "pads" on scissor. Or remove blocks. Or remove bar altogether unless you have oversize rear wheels.Lightened up Front End?? I have a 2014 and a 2016 Viper XTX, both of which were really front end heavy. The 2014 we bought used, and the previous owner had tightened the limiter strap, which didn't help. I have now installed Bill Mohr's heavier weight spring on the center shocks of both sleds, and adjusted preload on those springs so that the front ends feel much lighter, and there is no problem lifting the skis with throttle. I think Cannondale said that he still has a couple of the springs available for sale.Lightened up Front End?? I have zero experience with the 141” skid sled. But I will say that I love my 2020XTX LE. I know this doesn’t add a lot to helping the guys that don’t like them. But my 146” front end is not off the ground near as much as I thought it would be when ordered it. I still have my 18’ RTX LE as well. I don’t see that much drop off. I had a day or so on a Backcounrty XRS and I felt the length. It was noticeable. Pushed in the corners. I really don’t notice it on my 146”.

146 is a coupled skid. Very nice ride. Was in the touring Cats.
