Just a quick question...is it normal for the LED to still glow green when the mode switch is "off", and you're using the factory warmers? Mine does, just curious.

The unit works great by the way. Installed today. Loomed/taped/tied everything on non-plug and play, and still only took a couple hours start to finish. VERY warm grips... with bare hands, WOW - actually looking forward to the bitter cold days now.

As long as the power switch is on the light will be green it will turn red when you use the factory switch on the bars to turn the warmers off and the yamaheater takes over.

Yes, the LED is actually powered by the output to the bars and on some sleds will still function even with the unit itself turned off.
The mode switch will be left set to ON almost 100% off the time, about the only time you will ever use it is in late spring riding (50+ degrees F) when you may need a true "off".

Am very glad you like, wait till it really does get cold and you don't!
