Broke the news to my wife regarding the necessity of acquiring Lake Effect risers.....not happy. I did manage to convince her how cool she will look and feel while riding....along with warm hands!
Anyway, my Yamaheater arrived and it looks flawless! Thanks Rock, another happy customer!.
BDave, the answer to your question is yes. I hand my over my balls to her all the time because it feels good!

They look awesome & are tough!
Definitely a great price for a custom billet riser!!!
Glad you like the controller!
Wait until you get it all together, you will really like how it all feels/looks.

You obviously went OVER and ABOVE the call of duty to get me the Yamaheater by today! I have it in my hot little hands, and God willing, it will be installed by noon Friday. I am thoroughly impressed with your dedication to customer service. Something tells me you won't need it, but if you ever need a recommendation, let me know.
Now that I see the unit, it looks pretty straight foward, but we will confirm it all on Friday.
Thanks again for your efforts!
You are welcome Dude!
Am glad to help, that's what I am here for!

Installed my Yamaheater on Friday. Not including taking panels, chrome ring and tank cover off, it probably took me a bit over an hour. But I took my time and proceeded very methodically, not wanting to make a mistake. (I hate doing things over again) Plus I had to call Rock to find the fuse box and question the difference in connector boot between Vector and Apex illustration. Rock of course answered the phone immediately, and was available to answer questions.
If I had to install another one I'd bet I could do it in 30 minutes or less.
The Vector has two boots for the connectors to the grips and brake, but the wire color coding is the same. Everything came apart and connected as expected.
Only two comments of note, the wiring was just a touch of a stretch from the box to the plug connections. I had to reroute to save 1/2 inch or so, and I was fine. Also, the place where it seems logical to mount the Yamaheater on the Vector, a black, varying width braket above clutches, actually interferes a bit with the side panel when reinstalled. The side panel presses up against the Yamaheater black box and causes about 1/4" wider gap than the other side, but you can still install the panel. I could trim the panel a bit, or sand down, but I am leaving it for now.
All told, heat to the bars is 100% better than stock. I idled and ran on a jack stand for a couple of 4 - 5 minute periods and grips got very warm, but not scorching hot as some have suggested. I will be interested to see effect once riding for 10 - 15 minutes.

Awesome Fusion!
Send me some pics of where you mounted the unit etc.
(email would be best)
Would like to see how mounting & the wiring went.
If you don't mind, may get a number of pics from you so that I can do a install pictorial on the Vector.
The grips should get very warm, but not scorching, etc.
You don't want them to melt! lol
The overall heat output WILL vary from sled to sled, simply due to variance in parts, but should be easily warm enough to keep your hands warm.
The real key is that the grips put out more heat than what the losses due to ambient temp, speed, wind, etc, take away.
That way you always have Warm Hands!

Rock;
I actually had my camera with me up north, but got so busy with other things I never took it out of the case.
When I am up for a week at the end of December I will take pictures of the mounting position and email them to you.
Thanks for all your expedient advice on Friday.
