Rock, My 2009 Apex LTX, (the sled i'm doing first) & my wife's Vector LTX are both in the U.P.
I can not get any pics!
Sorry!
The Apex LTX is all I'm concerned with doing for now!
The next order I'll do the other sleds!
Any idea on when my order will go out to Greenland?
I've got to have Kip @ Pat's Yamaha ready for my install.
Thanks!
BR

Now I know why you have that name, cause you ROCK!
They work great and can even be wired by a colorblind person.
Can feel the warmth before the engine warm up light goes off! Hot in 2-3 minutes!

Is ok, I appreciate it.
Should go out yet this week, have a bunch of guys from Europe that ordered early and are coming here for a North American Tour.
Then I should have everyone out that ordered last week, and planning on most from this week.
I send everyone a tracking number when I print the shipping label.
(Unless it was shipped to a different address than the paypal address OR you have not fully filled in your Paypal shipping address correctly.)
Hope this helps!

Lol @ wired by a colorblind person!
Really am glad you like! *beaming here*
Ya know guys, aside of any possible money, I am truly glad I can help.
This has been a major issue with some incredibly great sleds for a long time, and unfortunately should have never been an issue to start with.
Glad we now have a real workable solution.
I know I REALLY love my sled now!

Why are the switch and status light necessary if the factory controls work? If I put your kit into the sled why would I ever want to bypass it when all I have to do is to adjust my warmers using the factory controls. Did I miss something?
I don't see any mention of the thumbwarmer. Can it be boosted as well?

Hi Stewart!
The thumbwarmer was covered in detail in this post.
http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?p=591650#591650
The Mode Switch and Display LED are in detail many places and specifically covered here:
http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?p=588072#588072
I would recommend mounting the display LED where you can see it, because it gives you alot of feedback.
If you do not want to drill a hole, I'm sure you can find a cool place to Ty-wrap it to.
The switch you can simply ty-wrap to the controller.
That way you still have access if needed, yet it is out of the way.
Hope this helps!

Dumb question. I had a look back thru the post and one thing I don't see mentioned is where the power and ground go. Do those get wired directly to the battery?

Here is the install link for the NYTRO/PHAZER:
http://www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?p=591687#591687
Shows a couple suggestions for the Ground & Power leads, on the Nytros.
Basically the ground can connect to any bolt, etc near the controller, as long as the bolt also connects to the sled frame by metal.
(Very little curent flows through the ground lead.)
Would suggest taking the +12v Red lead to the battery.
This wire carries the load current of the Grips.
Hope this helps!

Thanks Rock. I knew it was a dumb question. LOL. The last time I looked at those instructions for the Nytro they were still in progress and didn't show the power and ground hookup. I should have looked again today.
