Just opened my new snogoer.... both the nyto in the 600 class and the apex in the top performance category had top speeds and elapsed time in the 1/4 mile tests by snowgoer.... in fact they held most of the spots along the way too...

nytro: fastest at 660@7.609 and 87.89mph, 1000ft @10.186 sec, fastest 1/4 at 12.538 and 95.4 mph.... was beat at 60 and 330 ft by the polaris 600 dragon, also speed at 1000 the dragon was faster by .8 mph.

apex: fastest at 60@1.761, 330@4.74, 600@7.397, 1000@ 9.866, and 1/4 mile@12.026 and 102.97 mph. Was beeat at speed at 660 by the cat 1000 by 1.7mph, again at 1000 by cat by almost 2mph.....

Not bad for heavy slow four strokes...... great job yamaha!!!!!!!

Nice find Blue! and to think all this time I thought I needed 170 hp!

:yam:

I must admit and always will that they have a cc advantage. I'm a die-hard NYTRO fan, but its just a fact.
Sweet numbers tho, can't wait for my XTX! :)

I don't know< I can beat my buddy 2008 F1000....

I'll buy the snowgoer issue and tell him its cause I weight 50lbs more than him...

R these the Old Forge results from December or a different set of results?

Different...... These sleds were taken from the crates my this mag. Broken in (even the doo chips) then taken completely stock... Yammie did quite well. MM.

I almost fell of the can when I read that in mine. Nice to be on top for a change. Maxdlx

They are the Old Forge results from December.

We seem to be talking about different results..I got my imf. from American snowmobiler mag.No factory or dealer interference... All bone stock. MM. It's called real world shoot-out.

Yes American Snowmobiler had their own "Real World Shoot Out". This post is referencing the SnoGoer results from the Old Forge Shoot Out in December.
