I assembled my chain case tonight. With 1&1/2 turns out on the adjuster the chain hits that bump. At 1 turn it just barley kisses it. At 3/4 of a turn it doesn't hit. I used finger pressure to take the slack up against the bump, so it may be different under load/unload conditions.
I am going with 1 turn because I know what happens when they are too tight.
