While your in there also check on that clearance between the slides and your track clips. Seriously on the right side I bet I had 3/4" on each side, on the left it was much less probably a 1/4".
So no vibrations with slightly misaligned track.
As a last FYI I measured the tip of the rails at 10.25" apart but at the limit strap location with the shaft going through the rails holding them together it was exactly 10"
Lets hope yours measures like 11" or something, but I doubt it. I dont know what else it could be.

mdkuni - You measure your rails last night bud?

I did check my rails. Both measurements on the rails matched the measurements you gave me (thank you for doing that).
I did not check the gap between the slides and track clips. We got 10" yesterday and I was so excited to go play in the powder that I forgot about it!
Denis (ADBoivin) has actually been working with me this week. I am not sure how much longer it will last but it is a start. No solution as of yet.

It's a step in the right direction. Keep up the dialogue with Denis Boivin, I'm sure he will come up with something to help you out. There gotta be something strange going on in your ZX-2 skid as many of us ZX-2 owners have no vibrations.

I would also like to hear from the 4-5 other people in this thread that were having the same problem.

Yeah that's true, the more people with problems reporting back to ADBoivin the better. I sincerely hope you can get the skid fixed and the vibration removed.

When you run in on a jackstand, will it still vibrate?
Same question: Does it vibrate on the stand?
It is hard to tell with not being able to sit on the sled but I do not feel or hear anything like the vibration I get when riding it.

I think its your track clips hitting the slide of the slides.
rx rider - do you have any scratch marks on the side of your hyfax?
I have a little bit on one side but it looks like it rubbed a hand full of times and thats it.

Could you guys check clips marks on the side of your rails on the outside? My marks are extensive in the rear just in front of the rear wheels and in front before the first set of wheels. The marks are the same on both rails though. So if it was out of alignment you would think the marks would only be on one side.

I have ZERO wear on the spots you have mdkuni. The only little bit is the very front 10" of the left side rail.
Be interesting to see what rxrider has

Hello guys here's what I found....

My skid is worn just a little, I'm pretty impressed on how well it holds together after a season of hard use.

Same marks on my skid except my wheels were not damaged like yours.
I messed with the suspension for over an hour tonight. On the stand and running at 3-5 mph you can see the vibration. The track shakes. Once she gets under power it smooths right out. I examined all contact points (wheels and fins) and there is clearance in every area.
I tried turning one adjuster in 3-4 turns. No change. Then reset and turn 3-4 turns out, no change. An easy way to recreate the issue is to ride the side of a back with one ski on the ground and the other ski and the track are partially on the bank so the sled is at an angle when driving. This makes the vibration worse. I have stopped in this positing and examined the skid. The only thing that looks to be in issue is the wheels that are mounted to the lower shock rod have zero gap between the cogs and the wheel that is on the bank. The other wheel has plenty of gap. When turning around and putting the other ski and the track partially on the bank the same thing happens. The wheel on the lower shock rod that is on the bank has zero gap. I am not sure if this is the issue but maybe I should try removing those wheels and see what happens.
Can someone measure from the rail to the outside of those lower shock wheels? If you are going to go the the hassle would you mind doing the same for all of the wheels on the outside of the rail?
