I can PROMISE anyone on here that you save WAY more than 5 pounds gutting the exhaust. Not a chance it weighs 15 pounds gutted, and there is no way its only 20 pounds stock. I picked it up before and after and it's night and day. When gutted it's as light as the Bender.

SoCoRX1 is talking about the gutted exhaust on my sled. It sounds pretty mean, the Yoshimura is way deeper, but the weight savings is awesome on the gutted exhaust and the tone is way better.

Here are couple pics for those who haven't seen it. Kachess - Nice video. I can pull my sled around just as easy as in the video when the powder is nice like that. I think its more a of a lack of confidence than anything.

These things are so fun to ride in the deep powder. I'm not the type of rider that even tries to highmark people, I would rather carve in the deep powder and sidehill. In my sled's current setup it does those 2 things perfectly. I can barely lean to one side and the thing falls over - I love...

Sweet. How much better do these sleds run down closer to sea level? We ride at near 11,000 feet, I would imagine the power would be much greater at 3,200 feet.

So the consensus is to take the slack out of the limiter straps? Not so much as to make them stiff, but more on the tight side than the loose side? Or is it the other way around?

So I took my stock muffler off in preparation of putting my brother's Yoshimura on when he gets a blower. The straight pipe sounds wicked, but my brother says I am losing a lot of pwer because of lack of backpressure. How much am I really losing? Is it a crapload?
