2019/2020 Bogie Wheels

As for stock 2019 rear wheels they been working perfectly with 0 issues so far!.
I changed the bearings in all my oem wheels last summer at around 6800- 7000km.
I am at 9000km and no issues
Running hurricane tunes to the ragged edge..lol

The only issues I have see is the inside (2 small) ones look like they are taking a beating, the rest look fine.

  • You cheap out with the black wheels back there. lol Just kidding, bling bling.
Those run over studs so they gotta be rubber

My 4 in the back are not rubber and run over 200+ studs.. No issues in 13K they do not need to be rubber. They can be hard plastic.

True statement, I was honestly amazed that the stock wheels held up as well as they did, my point was that I couldn't run bare billet aluminum over studs.

In doing my end of season inspection of my 21 SRX I found that the slide wear was worse than my pre 19 sleds with the larger wheels. Does not appear that the 19-21 rails have the wheel mounts dropped to account for smaller wheels, so naturally there will be more slide wear on 19-21 I suppose. PA had it's best year of snow in a long time so it wasn't marginal conditions.

the 19 and up wheels are garbage, the rear wheels start out at 8 inches but with a few 1000k they quickly becomes 7 3/4 or 7 1/2s

You think its because of newer better plastic like PPE? Almost unheard of before idlers without rubber. But now the rubber is so hard on the wheels anyway might as well not make a difference. There's crap wheels and good wheels with both design it seams.

For sure, good designs with and without rubber.. I find the wheels in Jt 4 wheel kits are very durable. I will be running 4 Sly dogs on one sled and 4 sly dogs on another. These will be the outside wheels up front.. The two inside I prefer the Doo wheels I have a link to up top. The 4 wheel kit form Jt in the backs. LOL.. So I'm not running any stock wheels?

I think the stockers are a joke.. Especially the back wheels.. Just look at them? Put them in your hands and feel how light and cheap they are? Guilty of not running them at all but IMO they wont make it with 150-200 studs. Good for spare wheels though! Got to have parts!

600 miles on my sled... DONT LAUGH... Anyways, my inner wheels are shot. need 141 mm?

PPD is same plastic molder Cat has used for probably 40 years.
