2019 SRX sidewinder 1`` track noise

Some sled lifts will sit on the rotor cover and chaincase.
Those lifts need 2 inches added to the fwd cross beam.

Could of hit ice chuck possibly , I will check the sled lift , sent picture to the dealer mechanic , he says bearing or shaft could be toast , haven't heard back from him with only 942 miles , sad part is I took it in at around 400 miles when I first heard it , dealer couldn't find anything , would of been under warranty then in 2020 didn't ride 10 miles last year with covid ramp everyone I asked was scared to go

That parts gets bent upward real easy. Probably all it is. Bent the heck out of mine and ripped that plastic piece off second ride on my sled. Was not happy. Bought a skid and no issues since.

I could order a new plastic piece and put on see how much clearance there is on a new one

Not having a good night finish up hurricane flash , changed the secondary spring when I put the main bolt back on it broke , luckily I was able to drill it out , need new bolt, thought tge torque was 65 , apparently not or my torque wrench is no good

Just take it apart and inspect..
Remove the foot guard, and bake guard
Pull the c clip on the shaft holding brake rotor, then Remove the 2 alen head bolts to split caliper and remove rotor. Make sure to put rags down under caliper since brake fluid will eat powder coat

Ok , thanks for info.pretty sure I did the same bearing on my 15 viper , had a hard time bleeding the brake after. I will make a aluminum gasket to lower the plastic piece for more space.Or I might make the dealer do it if it's the bearing or shart is cooked since I took it in during first season

Remove the 3 bolts inside tunnel that hold calliper on, remove the clip in front of rotor, if calliper/rotor assembly moves in and out freely than you won’t need the split calliper, remove the brake pads and it should come right off.

Than you just have to make up a puller to press out the bearing if it’s shot, I use a bit of heat with heat gun, bolt and nut with a large socket and some washers and bearing slides right off.
