Back and forth with the 8dn and gates carbon. Will be staying with the gates carbon. It is wider so it goes all the way to the top of primary. TP orange at 2-3 and 35/39 Dalton helix but swapping out to a 41/37 Dalton I have now. Would like a 42/39 but Dalton don't make one from what I see. 911 cover on also.with what belt and setup in the back clutch?

on the dalton site it says for extra $25 they will custom cut any angle you want.
Just wondering which way to go here.....Once the HH58y are fully loaded you get the weight you need but lose the ability to adjust. How is the shift once the middle is fully loaded?

Taller gearing, dalton G/W primary, Dalton Black/O secondary at 6-1, 270R with a 3" Sandale exhaust and the weight below is not nearly enough:
Get with Lonn and get some of the brass bolts. 7/16 brass equals 7/16 steel with 2 thick washers. 1/2 brass is another 2g heavier.

If your planning to run 280+hp all the time order heavier base weights. 58g are maxed out at about 290-300hp. Lonn has base weights all the way into the 70’s. I currently run 63g. Base.

Being involved with cnc, $25 for a revised cut program is a gift.

I ended up ordering the brass bolts and tungsten washers for the time being. I Probly should have gone with the 63g base weights, but I'm hamstrung right now with the lack snow and no access to the tune updates on Android. It's so glitchy right now it's frustrating.

With these tunes varying in hpr levels and spooling quicker, this info on weights in golden here guys....keep it going.
But, when ordering weights from Lonn at Thunder Products, be specific as to what tune/hpr level you are running or going to run. Lonn is keeping great notes....but with how the "super" tunes have come out since December, it's hard to keep up, especially if Lonn doesn't visit the site. I will relay these findings to Lonn today when we talk
Lonn says "Thank you!" to everyone ordering and running his weights.

I have 270 r , tp orange springs, tp 911 cover, tp hole shot 33/35, 73.6 base daltons, 21/41 gears, 153 track... seems to work pretty good 300 miles same belt, but seems to hold back at about 108 on speedo the rare times goes 115 or so ,,,, my question is would a 35/37 helix work better?? Have a chance to buy one close

Back your secondary off 10 more degrees. It’s not pulling thru to overdrive.

That’s horrible top speed for a 270 tune even with a 153.
