Correct. No solid state relays exist for this issue in ProCross chassis.Will put it in FAQ though.

I could add this to the FAQ, so guys know to just pill the relay and warm them up.

Might be worthwhile carrying a couple hand warmer pouches and an elastic band or two. Won't need electricity for the blow dryer and don't even have to pull the thing in and out.

I can't believe I have to go through this crap again. I have had many Apex, Vector and Nytro cold start problems until I replaced with the solid state relays. Someone needs to come up with a fix asap.

This is my third Yamaha and I only had a relay freeze up once. That was on my wife's Nytro. Very easy to pull the relay and warm it up. I don't know what the big fuss is about. I was up in Hearst Ontario with my Nytro and Apex and on a -30 morning the only sleds that wouldn't start were a Polaris 600 Dragon and a Doo 600 SDI.

Hey Dan..... now that you have a sled,could you take a picture of the relay in question?

It's really simple, take your hood off and open the fuse box. You'll see the relays, if you pull them out it says what they control under neath. It's not 1 relay per say that may give you trouble, it could be any of them. It's really worth guys having a look at these so your familiar with the location so when it's 30 below you know right where to go. Last year I just brought them all inside, if I remember correctly they are all identical. I'll take a picture shortly.

OK so I lied, there are 2 types of relays, the 4 small ones are all identical and the 2 large ones are identical. Notice once the relays are removed you can see what they control. Also tucked up under the fuse box cover Yamaha has included spare fuses.

Guys it’s a simple fix for us but think of those that don’t know or your girls. Heck one of mine I won’t even show her how to change a tire or add oil in car. It would be bad guaranteed. There is known solution but will not happen with cat wiring the way it is.

Very nice...someone should simply sticky THAT IMAGE showing the SMALL CORNER RELAY being the fuel pump.
