New Question ,Seems most dyno sheets i've seen a tuned SW makes the most turque/hp 8600/8700 so why run them at 9000rpm ??Mine rips at 8800 rpm

Mine runs sweet at 9,000 (per Evolution Powersports) with the EVO Stage 4 ....I answered the previous post for another member running Stage 4 from EVO.
I have also been told another flash supplier runs 9,000 rpm for their trail versions under 275 horse.
But other companies run 8,200 for full boost race applications.

Huge difference on bottom end snap/corner to corner when you set them up to rev 9000. Not even close on the tight trails. Now if you are out radar running, or top end running....you want to be 8800/8900 max.....You will pull higher speeds.
Terry, you bought out Lonn? So you are running the show now for Thunder??

Is this a good start for a complete stocker xtx? I am running the Ultimax XS825 and I have Thunder Products secondary rollers.Beerman, here is my setup:
Orange primary spring with 2 glide washers (one each end)
58g base weight
Tip 7/16 steel bolt with 2 thick washers
Mid 3/8 aluminum bolt with 1 thin washer
Heel 3/4 set screw
Secondary
Orange spring set 3-3 with 33/35 helix
9,000-9,050 rpm
Gates carbon fiber belt in 8jp length (40C4313)
XTX 141, 1.6 Cobra track, no studs and 21/41 gearing. My clutches are machined for more overdrive.

Stock XTX Sidewinder
Heel - 3/4 Allen
Mid - 3/8 Aluminum with 2 thin washers
Tip - 3/8 Steel with 1 thick washer
Secondary
Orange spring set at 3-2 with the 33/35 helix
If you run the setup above, you will not pull rpm on top as that is a setup for a non-stock sled.

Thunder Products Clutching will be doing an off-season promo on all in stock items (which is pretty much everything).
Stock SW setups for LTX would be:
Heel - 3/4 Allen
Mid - 3/8 Aluminum
Tip - 3/8 Steel with 1 thick washer

Yes, lighter tip weight.
Every sled is different. That's what is nice about our adjustable weights. You can fine tune your sled in to how you want it. Our setups are what we have to get you very close.

You are very welcome!
Here is a video of the last TY ride. Most are running Thunder Products Clutching setups with their turbos and even some modified competitor clutch kits with our add on's.
Here is a video from awhile ago with a few of NA Vipers running our clutching in the deep.
