Aftermarket clutch weight testing from this weekend

Beerman, here is my setup:


Orange primary spring with 2 glide washers (one each end)
58g base weight
Tip 7/16 steel bolt with 2 thick washers
Mid 3/8 aluminum bolt with 1 thin washer
Heel 3/4 set screw

Secondary
Orange spring set 3-3 with 33/35 helix

9,000-9,050 rpm

Gates carbon fiber belt in 8jp length (40C4313)

XTX 141, 1.6 Cobra track, no studs and 21/41 gearing. My clutches are machined for more overdrive.

I tried it last year so if I remember right it struggled in the mid range with rpm and took a little longer to reach peak rpms. The 35/39 was snappier and better cruising rpm and better mpg. The 38 was a STM and my 35/39 is a Dalton also.


with what weight profile...flat or curved?
