Kevin - if you buy a used track, and a set of skis, and make a cool down with connectors, your looking at $500 to $1000 area, which is cheap!
If you run totally stock, you only need jeans, a leather jacket, a good helmet, gloves and a pair of over the heel leather shoes. These items most people should have already.

Impala, I bought a set of used skis and a track for under $200 for a friend. Invest in a couple of small wheel kits, some cool down connectors, and a cool down and I think you could have under $700 in the thing. Depending on what clutching you run you can probably just adjust your snow setup for bracket racing!

I believe Buster696 even has a set of skis he wants to sell. Probably only wants about $150 if memory serves me correctly. Surely can dig up a used 15 x 121 track for $150 or so.

Played around on my starting line practice tree for a while last night. This is gonna take some gettin used to a .500 light instead of a pro tree!

Well, the Wahl suspension is in, the new skis are mounted, the tether is hooked up, the SRX shocks are on the front, and the exhaust is on. Just the track, drivers, and the dial-in plate, and I should be set for Saturday.

Well, everything went well in tech, and will be running it this weekend. Practice all day Saturday, and opening day Sunday.
