Can you run the same heavy hitter base weights on stok sidewinder vs a winder with 280hp? How much weights can you add?

41 to 43 degrees was always the sweet spot.... great button clutch helixes were 47/40 ish...i had a 120 srx too.... those were awesome machines... roller clutches usually are compression and need about 5 to 6 degrees more.... for some reason this clutch being torsion likes about the same on the big end 39 ish... just like the old days..the difference being the start angle... but a decompressed turbo moto at low launch is looking for boost.... most I know aren't looking for miles long glory.... its over in the quarter for us and nos pro knows and has tested the right cocktail... and yes... the sled needs more secondary spring especially when turning it up..

Yes. I ran up to 300hp this summer on asphalt with the same base weight.

But if you can start at a lower start angle 33/35, might be able to get the spool up a bit more, and with a Dalton Black/Orange or TP orange spring, and then with the same finish angle of 35...top end should be what stock is; but with a snappier feel down low..no??

Last year I ran an all stock secondary set to 3-3 with Dalton Dtay-1s. All my top speed videos are with that setup.
This summer I eventually switched to all stm clutches although I had good results with the stock clutches.

This year we are running Dalton front spring and Dalton rear spring set to 6-1 because if the spring tangs that is similar torsion to stock spring at 3-3

We have 3 primary spring choice depending on riding style. When buying our clutch kit in the comments mention the setup riding style engagement preference etc...

This new clutch kit is already very liked by our customers. More response off the line and more responsive at speed also and no loss of top end...

I run the Dalton black/lime just a bit stiffer than the sno pro green, I really like that spring in the tuner secondary.

Thunder doesn't reveal his rates... But I can tell you it's one the most stout springs I've handled
