Doing a little clutching to my winder, currently running excell primary weights with 3_2_0_0 for magnets, bronze Dalton primary spring, tp orange secondary spring with 33/35 helix at 60 degrees. With mod/stock can both clutches are around 110 to 120 degrees after 5 or 6 long pulls in 1 ft powder. Rpms 8600. Threw on dial a boost, turned up to 240 hp, same clutching, primary 120 degrees, secondary 150 degrees after 6-7 long pulls in same conditions. 8750 rpms. The extra heat tells me the secondary is slipping, also belt temp about 200 degrees. I am working to get more efficiency for aggressive trail riding with few long pulls, my skidoo 800 etec was only 105 degrees both clutches after day of hard riding. I am wondering if a 33 finish would cool secondary a little or if theressecondary springwith more finish rate, or if 6-1 wrap would increase finish rate, thinking this just changes starting rate.
