I have read a few issues with Chinese made copper donuts so I decided that the best thing to do was to go with a known, upstanding vendor so I am ordering them through Travis at Barn of Parts. They are more expensive but I trust his designs and materials so it is worth it to me.

Of the three BOP, Port, Ulmer - BOP has the cheapest cost for them at $18 for the 34mm if they are all made by the same guy. Who here in WI makes them? If the guy is around the Eau Claire area I would like to see if I could buy from him direct and cut out all of the shipping time/cost.

Not saying they do not work, they just do not last. The copper ones last forever, the OEM has to be swapped out again and again.I have used OEM ones since 07 never had a problem with them.

Huh, I just found several cooper donuts in my spare parts box that I thought I had used up in the past. They are the right size so I am good to go.
Travis, I was able to get a flex pipe from a local guy parting out a Apex via Facebook Marketplace.

I know a copper ones will not wear out, but do the graphite ones provide a better cushion and not be as harsh on the titanium pipes?

Had them in my Nytro for 10,000 miles before I sold it and never had a problem with them or the exhaust pipes.

This is only common on the new style 2011 and up Apex sleds. I have done piles of older units and the stock donuts dont last more then 5 to 6000 miles.
