CR says they are seeing 120 mph on the LT models!

CR is the best, I never miss his blog and really loving the new SW info!

Great news on the chaincase updates and testing sounds solid.

The more I read the more I want one. Now to convince the wife. :)

Can't be 12 psi stock, can it? That would put this thing well over 200hp in Stock form.

Its prob 12psi or so stock. The Cat 1100 is about that too I believe. Its just a little peashooter turbo on it, prob makes less that 10hp per psi.

The 998 in the SxS only makes 112hp or there abouts at 10,500rpm, with 9:1 compression ratio at 8800rpm this motor is lucky to make 90-100hp without the turbo so 12lbs sounds about right.

I've been hearing 180-190hp. Even with lower compression and less RPM, 12psi would put it over 200hp I would think.

12psi is probably at 10,000 ft where they say power finally drops off, that would put it around 9psi at sea level. We really can't base it off the SxS numbers since that probably has cams more tuned for power range that works well for the manual transmission. It only has 5% less displacement than the 1049 which equates to around 7-8hp if it was cammed similarly. Less than 10hp loss from the compression difference. So it should be around 115hp with not boost. I'd be very surprised if it pushes beyond 9psi at sea-level to make ~190hp

12 psi MAX in stock tune!!! It was dynoed yesterday at dyno tech! Numbers should be out soon. Heard a rumor it was around nine at the dyno.
