We have had some inquiries about anything new for the season.
I'll post a link here to our Yamaha page.
Our Quick adjust flyweights are the quickest way to accurately dial in your sled and make changes. You can add or subtract grams without even removing the flyweight from the clutch.
The curvature and design has also been proven most effective by many Yamaha four stroke racers, tuners and clutch kit packages. In fact, many users that race " big turbo four strokes" of other snowmobile brands use our Yamaha QAY/DTYA series in sets of 4 with billet clutches, etc.
We also have some new springs, and more standard available YSR helix angles, etc.
Happy to post here and show what we have to offer clutch tuners. We come on once in a while, and will post new items and try to show whats available, however do not always have time to monitor forums, and would prefer that you email us if you would like further info. It is pretty quick and easy to do so, just click "contact us" on any page of our website and we will answer very quickly. Please email us.

Nice to see you here Dale. I have dealt with Dalton for many years, and Dale always replies to me quickly and gets me setup and shipped out fast. Best clutching parts in this game. Great new secondary spring too, for the SW!

Can one just get the Black/orange secondary spring and run it with the stock helix, and improve performance, and stop coil bind?? Don't want to lose any top end, but if a simple spring change will improve performance/stop
The coil bind, then it might be worth doing??
Or do you need an aftermarket helix and other things to see a difference??

Looks great Joe....can you confirm that Dales new Sec spring has same Tang orientation as stocker? Did you set at 60 degrees?Dalton 33/35 helix and black orange secondary spring
All three rollers are touching and belt is set just right. Waiting for snow!
thanks, great to know all is touching as it should. I see you have some other rollers in there too, great work.

Yes this should help all sleds IMO, be it stock or wild.....and with any other components in the driven. Can one just get the Black/orange secondary spring and run it with the stock helix, and improve performance, and stop coil bind?? Both Dale and Lonn have said their new Sec springs should cure any coil bind issues, so no machining or washers needed.

What about the tang orientation compared to stock spring tangs?
I assume Dale had them made the same, so no mix ups when setting degrees....Just wanted to be sure.

Actually dan since my sled was at the dealer in Truro, they received the dalton parts and installed them while they had my clutches off. So I never had the chance to compare the the two springs. What about the tang orientation compared to stock spring tangs?

Oh Ok....that makes sense. I will check my TP orange when i get my sled, and then the dalton later on when I get it too.

Same here....im excited to take this sled slower then I have on others in past. I would like to see how good it can get with just clutching on a full broke in engine....I would love to try a CAI without a tune or muffler change, but not sure that is safe. Some tuners say it is, and others say no way. Im sure some lower speed trail testing would not hurt it, just to see if the snap can get better with intake opened up. Would be a good test at least.

With a spring and weight change(dalton) in the primary it was a world better. I am interested in the new secondary spring that Dale has come with as I believe that it did over shift off the hop from loss of grip and more side load should help that situation. I have mine stock still and to be honest with just clutching I was running side by side with a well setup eco tuned 1100 with mod stock exhaust(230 hp). I was able to get mine on the dyno and it made 208 hp(500 miles on speedo) where the eco version made 229 with mod exhuast and TD version 19 on eco. I broke it in as I have many and that was up and down through rpm range to 50 miles on and beat it hard on the drag strip/lake to get rings properly seated from there on for a full day. You can actually feel the thing getting faster as it breaks in and I hit 121 with 500 miles on the speedo and this was on gps with 125 on the speedo. In perfect conditions it would have been faster. Best sled I have owned so far for this and how smooth and fast it is in all conditions. The other thing I like is how repeatable it is back to back many times without dropoff where the 1100 was get hot and speeds drop and belts go bang.
