Had a great time with all of the guys up there. My buddies that I normally ride with ride Yamaha, and have never been on this site cracked me up. They said it was like a weird flashback of being in a bar in the early 80"s. Instead of "Hey Man any interest in some pot or other drugs...) It was "Hey Man any interest in hand warmers, riser's, or HID lights"? LMAO Only a couple of guys who ride their sleds stock would compare this to that. The same guy who told me "Don't you think Yamaha has thought everything out? Why would I need these things?" Turned to me after an hour of riding with Rock's hand warmer setup and said "I just burned my hand's and will kiss Rock when I get back to the hotel" LMFAO

Wow! Another great TY ride. Excellent trails, great company AND an all day demo on new sleds! First ever trip AROUND Grand Islland.... On the ICE! Can't thank everyone involved in setting this weekend up. Tom, you're the man! Without your involvement we wouldn't have had the opportunity to REALLY ride these machines. To the crew from Yamaha, thank you! Eric, Jeff, Gary and Nick were great to ride with. And I KNOW Nick will look at Ventures in a whole new light lol! And to the crew from the hotel, a BIG thanks for putting us up, AND putting up with us. Oh, and for my friend Liz, your time will come!! All the first timers now know what us old timers do. TY rides are a fantastic way to make lifelong friendships. I'll see you all next season!

We got 3-5 inches snow yesterday from Detour to Manistique. Another 2-3 last night. All wet heavy snow.

Am staying until the snow melts, probably a few weeks yet.
The trails are perfectly groomed right now & have a foot of new snow on them!
You should make it back up!

Hey rock, my kid and i are heading up on thursday staying until sunday. Were going to ride from motel if possible otherwise we'll trailer out to kingston plains one day, will also be riding seasonal roads down to our cabin in trenary, this is a blast this time of year, let me know if your still going to be around, keith.

It was a great time And I still logged 320 miles in 1.5 days
Its like you never want it to end
