There are so many out there that really believe this. You can't tell them otherwise.Hey if the skis are in the air it must be fast right.
They confuse weight transfer and power.
Now when you have 300 hp and that sled is starting to rotate up on the back wheels, Thats a power wheelie

I guess my point to that statement was , any other manufacturer Polaris, Arctic Cat or skidoo has always needed a cc advantage (100-150 cc ) to run competitively with a Yamaha motor . And when Yamaha has the advantage it isn’t comparable. Not really. It would only be fair to compare other factors also like displacement and operating RPM.

- 07 Mach z x (sold)
18- RTX LE
I rode with a 205hp 900t all last season and it was embarassing. For him. So what makes these z guys think they're gonna have something for the tuned winder? Oh yeah the magical launch control like it's gonna suddenly lauch it into the stratosphere. Pfff pass.

We have snow, our lakes are getting safely frozen but unfortunately there is not a Mach Z or 900R delivered yet in our riding circle for our groups recently delivered SW XTXs to line up against!

I am trying to remember Back when the sidewinder was introduced yamaha said 180hp up 10,000 feet elevation.
Here in the Midwest stock was about 10 psi boost.
Didn't boost go up as elevation went up?
Was 14 psi the max boost number?
So they are showing 14 psi for the mach on the dyno chart.
Don't know what they are saying when ski doo says 17.3 psi boost.
Is it smoke and mirrors or ??

Little tidbit from Hurricane on increasing power on the Mach. Doesn’t look like it will be close to a tuned Winder/Cat.

Boost doesn't go up with elevation. Boost is maintained, which means the turbo would be spinning faster as you go higher.I am trying to remember Back when the sidewinder was introduced yamaha said 180hp up 10,000 feet elevation.

Thanks for the clarification. Thats why I asked it in a question.Boost doesn't go up with elevation. Boost is maintained, which means the turbo would be spinning faster as you go higher.
