cannondale27 said:I rode NosPros sled last weekend. There should be no doubt with the clutch setup he had in there it was just perfect launch so smooth everywhere. When you touch the throttle it goes at any point in range. Backshift seemed much better than my setup also. We didnt race but it sure felt faster. Take his advice as a gift. Alot of work behind it most settle for good enough he doesnt.
Found the same...mine will be ready for next year for sure!
Guys he races on the asphalt, he sure didn't have to share, most wouldn't!
Thanks Terry (nospro) for the hard work and especially sharing results. He is a reason why this site is what it is!

Thanks guys
I went back and looked/listened to the video and by sound (which the camera takes away because it doesn't like the loud sound) I can hear my chain whistling.... you can hear the speed...but it is what it is.
Next time I will put the camera on the speedo and have someone video on the other end. 1 reason is for myself as I don't have a playback tach and could really use that information of how the rpms are acting.

Those that did not believe the first video will probably not believe the second. Some will never believe and thats fine with me.

Check out this webcam at my favorite riding place. 800 square miles of this! Went last Thanksgiving to three feet of new snow and looks to be rideable till end of April.

Hey stingray
Is this your clutch setup now :
8FS empty
GR-WH-GR spring with a shim (2mm)
Stock rollers
That's it right ?
What's in your secondary ?
All stock or no ?

Please note that I used 8FS and cut them down because of altitude where I ride. I suggest 8FP like NOS-PRO used worked or him without altering Yes everything besides weights and spring is stock, 6-1 on secondary but 3-3 is probably better.
Surely aftermarket pieces can improve on this but this setup gets the big issue out of the way so minor tuning can begin, in my opinion.

Well the race wasn't apples to apples any way, an uncoupled rear with 1.6" track will hole shot a lot of sleds, vs a shorty nytro. I'd like to see a longer race please.

Why not try a 45/39 helix and WH- WH secondary spring ....?

NOS-PRO did that testing so I will let him answer. But like I said I was concerned with stopping the belt slipping first everything else later. If you improve on this please do post results.
