front bumper clutching ,transfer

krm, I think they forgot the turbo on your sled. And yes go with the biggest rollers you can get. Tighten that secondary up to 9-3 also then report back. It will scream!!!!!!! lol

I wonder if the slotted front arm is really necessary? I believe that is also a contributing factor in the limited transfer.
slotted arm is good to reduce inside ski lift!
For more transfert XTX 141"is way better thanLTX 137"thats it...

Facts...this skid will transfer...but not over transfer like doo...

I'm betting yam has this clutching set up loose for prevention of belt issues...

run SMALLER roller for more belt squeeze...either add more twist to secondary spring...or better yet try stiffer secondary spring...

No sense seating the clutching yet if you are doing mods...

Cats are geared to get out first but won't mph like Sw unless turned up and run out of gear..even still sw ratio should better it...

Remind me will the 8DN belt do anything for top speed or out of the hole?

larger roller will give more squeeze ,not smaller ,the ramp needs to be alittle more aggressive down low the larger roller will get it moving faster with less rpm .

Smaller roller will give more shifting force.

you might have less rpm with a smaller roller that will make you think you have more squeeze as the rpm will be lower .but the larger roller will produce more squeeze as the ramp is more stood up keeping rpm up and shifting the sheaves .get a v max 4 kit from hauck ,it's the 1st thing he wants you to do as you can't shim the spider on a yamaha .we have on the v max 4s used thinner pieces in where the spider assy screws into the inner sheave to get the ramp closer to the roller .

we all need to work together to get this sled right OR your cat friends are not gone to let you here the end of it! I have 2 friends with new cats and me with SW.

Sounds like the hole shot and mid range clutching need some tweaks.. The top end will be good especially with some miles on the motor. Yes I just came over from Cat!
