My 900R has a hose that goes to the air box also.
I'm gonna take it apart to see if there is a lot of "goo" in the system.
I might just buy a "catch can" like in my Ecoboost truck, but it's expensive. $450
Maybe i can do what we did on the Winder

LOLNot unless you can blow past the spring holding the valve shut, which I think you have to be a pretty big blow hard to do that. LOL.

I just emptied it yesterday.
About a half cup, but that's me towing back & forth to Maine at 80 plus for about 3000 miles.
Normally i'd say about a couple tablespoons per oil change.
This picture was 2500 miles "normal" driving.
Around town, towing small boat, racing young punks on 450 tune.
Ya know..............."normal"

I agree Mike. The few idiots that were there are now joined by new idiots and a bunch of trolls just starting trouble. That place has really gone down hill...
The 1200 forum was overall a real great group of guys, many that came from Yamaha four-strokes, so really decent nice & honest guys, but man are there some real winners there now on that 900 turbo forum. OMG I dont know where they all came from, had to come from the two-stroke side or something. Real boneheads and a bunch of know it alls, that honestly shouldn't even own a boosted four-stroke. We'll call them "squids".
I noticed that the really informative members and those with brains no longer post much.
Many forum sponsors are no longer there because the idiots were bashing them and their products. I had it out with one of the long-time forum idiots last year and got banned because of it. Others just put him on their ignore list and that's probably what I should have done. I thought I would miss DT but surprisingly I don't.

thanks Steve, take it easy on the young ones, teaching them a lesson only sends them reaching for the meds when there's no trophy. I just wish they'd stop riding side by side over a hill and ripping up the corners..that's why I don't ride on the weekends. Joe

I always tell them cutting corners results in disqualification.

Very interesting that some guys are having trouble with roll over delete the way Happy Knapp (lol) designed it ??? Iam not running a tune yet ( still learning about them ) and wonder if these tunes and or headers or aftermarket mufflers have something to do with why some work and some don’t????

Yes, you will get an oily smell and the cap will have some condensation on it. All normal.
